Please join us for a four-day Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) Summer Program developed and hosted by The HSC Pediatric Center’s Assistive Technology Clinic. This program is for young people ages 5 to 13 who use high-tech augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems. At least one caregiver is required to attend.
Caregivers attend training seminars while their child participates in traditional camp activities as well as programming designed to promote and practice communication using a speech generating device (SGD). The program concludes on day four with a community outing to Bowlmor Rockville from 1:00 to 3:30pm.
