Megan L. Mariotti, RN, CRNP, MPH, is a clinical improvement strategy specialist and pediatric nurse practitioner at Geisinger Health System in Wilkes-Barre, Pa, where she leads efforts to improve the quality and efficiency of care in the pediatric department.
She also functions as a nurse practitioner in a pediatric weight management program, working with children, teens and families to oversee medical management and promote behavior change. Prior to joining Geisinger, she completed an administrative fellowship at Harvard University Health Services. She worked as staff nurse on the general pediatric floor at New York Presbyterian Weill-Cornell Medical Center and as a research nurse specialist and interventionist in adolescent obesity research at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. She spent four summers with Wellspring Camps, an organization that offers therapeutic weight loss summer programs in locations all across the country. She completed her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing at the University of Pennsylvania and a master of public health at the Harvard School of Public Health. She joined the Foundation board in 2013.
