Wanda Booker, RN, BSN
As clinical director, Wanda provides clinical leadership and oversight to multidisciplinary healthcare teams which support quality care for clients of HSC Home Care and HSC Health & Residential Services.
She is a registered nurse with fifteen years of experience providing care for pediatric, adult, geriatric, mentally-challenged and underserved populations.
She is a recipient of the NICHE Gerontology Resource Nursing/ANCC certification to improve geriatric care in healthcare organizations.
Wanda is an experienced clinician with a passion for working with adolescents and groups supportive of reducing teen childbearing and its associated outcomes for parents, children and society.
Additionally, she enjoys leading and mentoring nursing professionals in her community. She has led and participated in multiple community projects including the University of the District of Columbia’s community health fairs and served as a keynote speaker for diabetes and hypertension symposiums.
Wanda is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Nursing and Clinical Systems Leadership at the University of Arizona.
